Alchemy Ultralight road, gravel & mountain bikes
Alchemy handbuilds their high-end bikes in Colorado, and now they’re offering Ultralight versions of their Atlas road bike, Lycos gravel bike, and Argos titanium hardtail mountain bike. The Atlas & Lycos get a higher percentage of hi-mod fibers to make them stiffer and lighter, but still tuned for good ride quality.
The layups show off their signature aesthetic, with clean lines and angles visible under the 5g Cerakote finish. Claimed frame weights are just 840g (Atlas) and 800g (Lycos). The titanium Argos gets refined 3/2.5 US-made titanium to shave a bit of weight for a complete bike as shown at just 24lbs (click to enlarge any pic).
The Argos comes standard with an Enduro XD15 ceramic bearing upgrade kit including headset, bottom bracket, and derailleur pulleys. The Atlas and Lycos get Premium build options that get those, too, plus titanium hardware throughout and lightweight Tune/Alpitude cockpits.
Yeti SB160 bumps travel with refined geometry & suspension
Replacing the frequent EWS-winning SB150, the new 160mm travel Yeti SB160 becomes their top enduro mountain bike with a carefully updated Switch Infinity suspension system. The vertically-sliding lower pivot mechanism gets slicker bushings, tighter pivot bearings, and improved seals for lower maintenance and better small bump sensitivity.
The kinematics were refined to ramp a little harder to prevent bottom outs and keep riders in the “sweet spot” of suspension action. The frame gets stiffer, with size-specific layups, and better ground clearance, packaging the Switch system in a smaller space. Linkage bearings are pressed into the alloy linkages rather than the carbon frame pieces for better durability.
Wilde Supertramp bikepacking cruiser MTB does it all
With mounts for everything across the top, seat, and down tubes and stays, clearance for 29×2.6″ tires, stealth dropper routing, and Paragon Machine Works’ modular cable guides, the Wilde Supertramp bikepacking frame is designed to do anything you want it to.
The fork also gets accessory, rack, and fender mounts, plus internal dynamo wire routing. The custom steel frame is handmade in Taiwan from a leading factory, yours for $1200. Only 15 complete bikes are being offered as shown (w/o the bags, sorry) for $3,000.
Wheels Mfr. Pumpkin Pie Spice bottom bracket
Forget lattes and candles, Wheels Manufacturing has given their BSA threaded bottom bracket the Pumpkin Pie Spice treatment. The limited edition piece has a slightly warmer gray anodized finish, available only in threaded BSA with ABEC-3 bearings for 30mm & DUB cranks while they last. MSRP $100.28. Which begs the question, why don’t we have Pumpkin Pie Spice gels yet?
Mondraker upgrades alloy MTB, city, and e-bikes for 2023
With 68 models getting a refresh or being completely new, Mondraker’s 2023 lineup is massive. The highlight is an all-new alloy version of their 150/130mm Raze trail bike, making one of their most popular mountain bikes more affordable. It uses the same floating shock suspension as the carbon version and fits 29×2.5″ tires.
All 2023 models are live on their website. Here are some other highlights:
- The Chrono hardtail gets “Down Country” versions with 120mm fork, dropper posts, and 2.4″ tires.
- The Chaser Urban Cross is a monster full-suspension city bike.
- Upper level e-bikes upgrade to the latest Bosch Smart System w/ 750Wh batteries and Shimano EP801/EP600 drive units

Cairn Rambler Edition e-gravel bike gets rowdier
This limited Rambler Edition of the Cairn gravel e-bike gets the modern mountain bike’s longer, lower, slacker geometry treatment that’s now suspension ready for any 30-40mm travel fork. The alloy frame is lighter and gets the latest Fazua 50 motor system, putting the top model just over 14kg.
Slimmer, lower seatstays and a thinner top tube and chainstays improve compliance and standover height. Fender mounts and routing for front and rear light wires, plus “Anything Cage” mounts on the fork legs (not shown here) and downtube add versatility. It gets a Campy Ekar group with Hunt wheels & Vittoria tires for ~$5k (£4,289).
Syncros Revelstoke 1.0 carbon trail mountain bike wheels
The 2nd gen Syncros Revelstoke 1.0 wheels get a shallower, wider hookless carbon rim. It’s still 30mm internal, but with much thicker sidewalls (38mm external width). This makes it lighter and more compliant, but also much more impact resistant and tougher.
It comes in two versions, both using the same rim. The 1.0s (1500g, $2,499) gets DT Swiss 240s hubs with Ratchet EXP 36 technology and Aerolite spokes with Pro Lock nipples. The 1.0 (1,650g, $1,799) uses DT Swiss 370 hubs with Syncros spokes and nipples.
Rapha Brevet Infinium jersey jacket
The Rapha Brevet Long Sleeve Infinium is a windproof, water resistant, insulated jersey that’s perfect for cold rides. The stretchy insulation and raised neck provide strategic coverage without overheating you, and an oversize zipper tab makes it easy to adjust with full finger gloves. Three rear pockets plus two hidden front zip pockets provide storage. Available in men’s and womens in multiple colors.
Garmin Instinct Crossover hybrid analog smartwatch
Mixing analog hour and minute hands with modern smartwatch functionality and their solar faceplate, the new Garmin Instinct Crossover watches look more at home in all our modern environments while monitoring vitals and training, too. The Tactical edition adds night vision goggle compatibility, stealth mode, and dual-function GPS. From $499.
