The new Campagnolo Super Record S Wireless road group is a special edition with elegant matte black finish that also does something very important – it drops the price without dropping any of the core features or technology.
In fact, it adds quite a few new tricks, with wider range gear ratios thanks to new cassette and chainring options. For the cranks, they have:
- 45×29
- 48×32
- 50×34
- 52×36 (new)
- 53×39 (new)
- 54×39 (new)
For cassettes, there are:
- 10-27
- 10-29
- 11-32 (new)
They promise the same precise shifting performance on all combinations, and apparently the 10-25 isn’t offered with this group.
Matte Black Finish
Not only does the group have a killer matte black finish, most striking on the carbon fiber cranks, but they’ve also created a matching matte Bora WTO wheelset to go with it:

Campagnolo made few concessions to get the price lower for this new group – the carbon cranks aren’t hollow like the standard (original) Super Record Wireless, and there’s slightly less use of exotic materials throughout. This adds 150g, for a complete groupset weight around 2,670g in its lightest form, but brings the groupset price down by $1,000!
Campagnolo Super Record S Wireless prices are:
- Super Record S Wireless groupset – $4299 / €3.990
- Bora Ultra WTO Matte Edition wheels – $4149 / €3.800
- Bora WTO Matte Edition wheels – $2949 / €2.700
So, yes, it’s still far more expensive than Shimano or SRAM’s top groups, but if you want something unique and gorgeous, this is it. Check my coverage of the original Super Record Wireless for a deeper dive on this group’s tech and performance.
The power meter that was teased in the Super Record Wireless’ original launch in 2023 is now here, too. It has a +/-1% accuracy and uses 16 sensors plus a gyroscope to determine the crank’s position. Weight is 747g w/ bearings (it uses Campy’s Ultra Torque split-spindle design) and comes in 170/172.5/175mm lengths.
Battery lasts for more than a month per charge & you can check its status with their app. Comes with a magnetic charging cable. Pricing TBA.
